Here at Folsom Farm we love to gather around the table as a family and share a meal. It connects us and makes us stronger as a family unit! For dinners, I use a lot of ground beef (especially our ancestral blend) because it’s easy and economical and everyone loves it! There is something about the simplicity and smell of meatloaf as it cooks, and the satisfying richness that just makes it the perfect family meal! My mom made the yummiest meatloaf after church on Sundays and it’s still one of my favorites to this day!
It’s great alongside mashed potatoes, and your favorite steamed veggies! You choose the sides that work best for you but give this recipe below a try and let us know what you think.
The ancestral ground beef from Folsom Farm includes 85-90% premium ground beef plus 10-15% liver and heart blended in. Gram for gram, beef liver is one of the most nutrient dense food there is on the planet. Most people don’t have a palate for eating liver and other beneficial organs, so we offer our ground beef ancestral blend so you can enjoy the benefits of the superfood nutrients AND actually enjoy your experience eating it! Even our kids LOVE it!!
