Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe (using Shakeology)

I made this AMAZING dessert the other day that I know you will love and will absolutely curb your afternoon or after dinner sweet tooth, WITHOUT sabotaging your goals!!! This chocolate mug cake recipe is super special because it uses 30+ superfoods! But don’t worry, there are only 6 required ingredients. Learn more about Shakeology here >>
Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 scoop Shakeology any flavor
  • 1 tbs sweetener of your choice {optional}
  • dash of salt
  • 1 egg
  • optional mix in: cocoa powder
  • 2 or 3 tbs water or almond milk

Instructions
 

  • In a mug mix all dry ingredients. Next, mix in an egg and 2-3 tablespoons of water/ almond milk.  You may need to add more liquid depending on how moist you’d like it.
  • Microwave for 60 sec (if you like it more gooey, this should leave it moist – you can always add 15 second increments if it needs it). When it is done the edges will pull from the sides.
  • Top with a dollop of your favorite nut butter while it’s still hot for extra yumminess.

Notes

*Seasonal Shakeology flavors make these super delish too! I’ve used this recipe with Pumpkin Shakeology, Peppermint Mocha and Salted Caramel and all of them are so yummy!
