On this week’s powerhouse solo episode, I have 2 quick yet powerful tips on how to overcome that nasty feeling of frustration and disappointment that comes up when you lack immediate results. When our efforts are not confirmed by immediate results, we are more likely to give up. You and I both know that results don’t happen overnight, yet there is some part of us that craves those immediate results. Results SHOW US that our hard work is worth it. So how do we keep moving forward even when there is a lack of results??? That’s exactly what I’m chatting about on today’s episode to help you stop giving up on your goals for good! So let’s dive in!

01:57 Focus on the Process vs the Results  

Attach yourself to the process and detach yourself from the results. Fuel yourself with all the good things that boost you up and make you a healthier, happier person. If you rely on one or two things to get you to your goal and it falls short, you’re going to start resenting the process and revert back to old habits that are not so good for you. 

06:18 Redefine Success for all Types of Wins  

It’s important to reevaluate and redefine success. Don’t let there be a huge gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Make every day count, and have little successes be just as important as hitting big goals and big successes. You need to celebrate your wins and be proud of even small accomplishments to keep you motivated and driven.                  

09:15 Stop Giving Up on Your Goals    

When you redefine success to be taking care of yourself every day, moving your body, fueling your body well, and making the best choices that you can, you won’t feel a heavy need for an outcome or end result. You’ll feel more empowered and in control of your life, and it will be hard to fail if you are doing everything that you can to be the best version of yourself. Put in the work, give it time, and adjust where you need to.
