Our guest today is Felicia Romero. Felicia has such an incredible story as an eight time fitness cover model, reality TV star, gym owner, and now as an online entrepreneur. She has so much expertise in the health and wellness industry. This episode is for health and wellness coaches and any human who wants to create lasting change in their life!

Felicia has had many facets to her life and career. From studying to be a lawyer, to becoming a gym owner, a fitness cover model, to building an online health and business and many other things in between. She has learned to listen to her intuition, pivot when needed and to find happiness within herself.

Felicia shares what she’s learned from having businesses in the brick and mortar setting vs. the online space. Her number one lesson has been resiliency. You have to continue to show up even when you aren’t seeing the results right away. It’s about releasing your expectations, taking responsibility and enjoying the journey.

We talk about what it’s like when fitness is your job. Felicia shares her experience with diet culture and how women can take the pressure off of themselves. We can’t look for happiness in external forces.

Felicia talks about her experience being on the reality show, Fit to Fat to Fit. It was an eight month journey, the first four months she focused on gaining 30-40 pounds and adopting the habits of her sister who lived a more sedentary lifestyle. The last four months, they lost weight together. Felicia’s biggest lesson was that your health is your greatest investment. There was a noticeable shift beyond just the physical.

The biggest roadblock that Felicia has found when working with clients on their health journey is the all in, all out mindset. It’s a mindset that sets you up for failure. Success comes from the small daily habits that we build into our day, and breaking down the big goals into smaller chunks. She talks about self-awareness and taking notice of your low vibe feelings.
