I was searching everywhere to find a sourdough bran muffin recipe and couldn’t find one that I loved so I took matters into my own hands! JD’s mom makes the yummiest bran muffins and since my new obsession is making everything at home with my sourdough starter, I was hoping to find one similar that was a tried and true sourdough recipe but no so much luck!
So I asked my mother in law to send me her recipe, tweaked it a bit and then added in my active starter just before baking each batch and it worked like a charm! All my kids and JD LOVED these!! My favorite part is that you can make a big ‘ol batch and keep the batter in the fridge so you’re only a couple minutes and no messy kitchen away from fresh muffins in the morning! 😍
