When I talk to people about getting clarity on what they want in their life, people often start to get a sense of overwhelm. It’s important to know how to navigate these situations by understanding how to react and move forward.
Our thoughts control how we feel, how we react, and the results that we get. Generally these thoughts such as “I don’t have what it takes”, “too little time”, and “I don’t know where to begin” are a few of the popular feelings that creep in.

When you’re in a moment of heaviness, instead of getting stuck there, you can work through it.
Speaking to so many people, one common denominator I see is that people are stuck thinking and not doing the actions it takes. So much information and not enough direction on how to use it.
When you’re in those moments, think about the action items that you can handle right now (and the things that are in YOUR control).
10:26 WHY PEOPLE STOP WORKING TOWARDS THIER DREAMS
One of the things that I think is really interesting is when people cancel whatever business opportunity they have when they’re stressed financially. To me, I wonder why they would cancel an income stream when with proper time management and diligence, they could be changing their financial situation.
Do the things that create more income!!
12:58 I WAS OVERWHELMED AS A PARTY PLANNER (AND HERE’S WHAT I DID)
Last weekend I hosted a bridal shower for my sister-in-law and leading up to the event, I was feeling a big sense of overwhelm. With everything going on in my life (good things), it felt like everything was piling up and so many necessary things were being missed from the event.
As soon as the ball gets rolling and some decisions get made, it feels like the stars begin to align and the weight gets lighter. It all starts with taking action on choices that will move you further towards your goal.

17:45 GO DO ONE THING & YOUR FEELINGS WILL CHANGE
We are always going to experience feelings of overwhelm! However, rather than thinking about cleaning the entire house, focus on starting with one room and go from there. Look at what’s in front of you and focus on what’s in YOUR control.
19:00 PRIORITIZE THE THINGS ON YOUR TO-DO LIST
Rather than making your to-do list one mile long, focus on the tasks on your list that will move the needle and make an impact (in your business or your family). Don’t tie your worth or your feelings to the list of things that “need” to get done.

22:52 THE POWER OF DELEGATION
I don’t like laundry at all, so that’s something I decided to delegate a few years back! As women, we want to do all the things all the time, but it’s time to get selfish. If there are things that can get done by somebody else, do it.
23:44 KNOW THAT YOU CAN WORK THROUGH OVERWHELM
The fastest way to work through overwhelm is to take ACTION. The sooner that you can take action on new things that come your way, the sooner that overwhelm will start to go away.
